Passing Down Kuk Po's Stories (Educational Programme)

How can we integrate Kuk Po into the new generation and promote exchanges between the village and the outside world?

The project team has successfully collaborated with three secondary schools and tertiary institutions to include conservation of Kuk Po project as part of the regular curriculum. The programmes adopted people-oriented approach to design the inclusive communities, develop community building and arts education, also enhanced students' thinking, communication and design skills, promoting the sustainability of Hong Kong's countryside through research and design projects.

The starting point for community building lies in understanding and observing the community. This involves analysing five aspects: people, culture, geography, industry, and landscape. By understanding the needs of the community, and through discussions and ideas from young people and the public, the project aims to reach a consensus on promoting sustainable community development.
