Explore Yim Tin Tsai with Story Map

Yim Tin Tsai in Sai Kung is an unique island that blends Catholicism and Hakka culture. The project team has developed the Yim Tin Tsai narrative map by collecting hundreds of village stories, including salt production of the saltpans, learning at Ching Po School, and holding Mass in St. Joseph's Chapel, guiding everyone to understand the unique customs of the Hakka people and the joy of venturing into the mountains and the sea!

If you are interested in delving deeper into Yim Tin Tsai, you may watch a series of project videos centred around the five senses. Join us in experiencing the stories of Yim Tin Tsai spanning nearly 300 years through multi-senses (visual, olfactory, gustatory, tactile, and auditory).
