The Flavours of Countryside Project Description

The Countryside Conservation Office (CCO) has launched "The Flavours of Hong Kong Countryside", a video series showcasing local ingredients cultivated with support from the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme, along with related conservation efforts. The CCO also hosted culinary events featuring local produce in Kuk Po Village, Sha Tau Kok, complementing the traditions and distinctive Hakka village culture.

Through this series, the CCO aims to share the stories behind these ingredients and demonstrate the government’s policy initiatives and contributions to countryside conservation and revitalisation.
