Kuk Po's Ecology Record

Protected by the dike, the abandoned rice paddies along the coastal areas of the four villages have gradually transformed into brackish wetlands and mangrove habitats, creating a distinctive landscape where mangroves and reeds coexist in harmony. Combined with the various habitats in the plains and valleys, including freshwater marshes, streams and feng shui woods, the Sha Tau Kok village serves as a vital habitat for numerous species.
