Kuk Po's Architectural Record
The settlement of Kuk Po village includes the squarish Lo Wai, the linear San Wai and the detached residences scattered in Yi To, Tin Sum and Kuk Po valley.
In terms of building typology, there are in general 6 basic forms developing from the prototypes of the three-bay courtyard house to Hakka row house, which embodied the century-old evolution process in the techniques, kinship and land titles in the vernacular Hakka architecture in the New Territories.
