Fishpond eco-tour
A guided tour around fishpond area for students to know more about the operation of local freshwater aquaculture and its ecological value, the importance of wetland conservation, the diversity of waterbirds as well as to have a close encounter with the endangered / near threatened birds.

In collaboration with Hong Kong Farmfest Preparation Committee, Vegetable Management Office, Fisheries Management Office, the FarmFest HK offered diverse locally cultivated high-quality crops and produces. Hong Kong Bird Watching Society also participated in FarmFest HK to promote local traditional fishponds and their ecological value to the public by selling dried mullet fish made together with local fishpond operators.
