Innovative and Sustainable Rural Tourism in the Sha Tau Kok Cluster II: Creating the MeGoOut Rural IP and Immersive Cultural Tourism Experience

Project Description

This project aims to continue and deepen the existing "MeGoOut Cha Kwo Genius" rural tourism IP by developing stories that blend Hakka heritage, and fishermen's culture with conservation efforts in the Mui Tsz Lam, Kuk Po and Kat O areas within the Yan Chau Tong region. The project will organise a diverse range of cultural and eco-tourism activities, including island-hopping eco-tours, signature events, and Hakka food promotion events through forums and exhibitions. By fostering synergy among culture, conservation, and community-based economic development, the project intends to establish a sustainable rural tourism brand and create a new ecological and cultural tourism landmark for Yan Chau Tong.
