Lo Wai Garden: Community Engagement Stories

The project site is situated in the Kuk Po Archaeological Site, with the discovery of prehistoric geometric pottery.

To carefully protect the century-old house and avoid damaging its traces of past living, the project team recruited volunteers to meticulously clean the site and organise the excavated artefacts, while avoiding the use of machinery in excavation works. Besides, the site clearance process also engaged the general public and fostered a sense of community among the Kuk Po villagers.
