Strolling Through Sham Chung, Bathing in the Forest
Forest bathing is a healing process where individuals restore their relationship with nature. The project team encouraged the public to experience the harmonious relationship of people and the environment in Sham Chung through forest bathing, wandering between the village and nature, and exploring the vast grasslands and ponds at their own pace. Additionally, the project team organised roving exhibitions to showcase the rich cultural, natural and spiritual resources in Sham Chung, and the research outcomes of the revitalisation of The Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel. Volunteer field trips, eco-spiritual workshops, and a photo competition were also organised to guide participants to experience Sham Chung with a broad perspective and an open heart.
