Reimagining Rural Life: Community Engagement in Mui Tsz Lam

The Chinese character 村 (Village) connotes settlement, which is an integration of natural environment, human establishments, tradition and beliefs. The project team organised a series of workshops and cultural experience activities, allowing the public to rebuild the stone walls, produce Hakka rice wine, Hakka steamed glutinous rice cake and rice dumplings, reimagined the traditional cultural customs, etc., developing innovative cultural tourism products to revive the intangible cultural heritage of Mui Tsz Lam.
