Natural Farming: Sustaining Life

The first and second phases of the Sustainable Lai Chi Wo Project concluded in 2017. In October of the same year, the "Lai Chi Wo Management Agreement" project, a collaboration between the Hong Kong Countryside Foundation and The Conservancy Association, was launched. This project continued and enhanced farmland habitat management to achieve harmonious coexistence between farming, rural life, and nature. In addition to benefiting the natural environment, the project also supported the local community's economy and rural landscape, providing opportunities for local residents and the public to participate. This initiative aimed to achieve sustainable integration of Lai Chi Wo's natural environment and traditional rural life.
