Kuk Po “Co-Joy” Workshop

Have you ever imagined creating your own Qilin decoration or transforming into a mini Qilin to experience Hakka Qilin dance culture?

Beyond strengthening the bonds among Kuk Po villagers through festive events, the CCO and project team have also attracted public participation in various festive workshops. The workshop "Little Qi Lin Hat" was the most popular. Villagers, students, and the public were invited to create personalised Qilin hats for event decorations while learning about the traditional culture and characteristic of the Hakka Qilin dance. The participants' artworks were showcased as lantern riddle art installation in the "Kuk Po Spring Equinox Festival" to celebrate Lunar New Year in the village together, which created an unforgettable experience for everyone.
