Issues of Over-tourism at Tap Mun Grass Land

Tap Mun grassland is a famous local attraction, drawing large numbers of tourists during holidays. Many campers set up tents, cook and carry out various recreational activities here, which brings environmental issues to the island and poses a threat to the grassland's ecosystem.

To assess the impact of over-tourism on Tap Mun, the project team regularly records the condition of the grassland, observes tourist behaviour on Tap Mun, especially on the grassland, and conducts surveys with an aim to promote the message of conserving Tap Mun.
