Habitat Conservation: Enhancing Biodiversity

The project organisation conserved wetland habitats, enhanced eco-ponds, and improved the habitats of amphibians, dragonflies, fish, herons and other waterbirds. To enhance the biodiversity of Sai Wan region, the project organisation planted water ferns around the eco-pond and in suitable locations to expand their population, and planted nectar plants and Pseudosasa cantorii in the rehabilitated farmland to attract butterfly species.
