Eurasian otter successfully identified by Artificial Intelligence (AI) species identification software

The cameras deployed for the project successfully captured footage of a Eurasian otter, which was then correctly identified by the artificial intelligence (AI) species identification software. The project aims to further enhance the accuracy of the AI identification, with the expectation of capturing more wetland mammal species that currently face high local extinction risks. Ultimately, these efforts will significantly improve the efficiency of mammal monitoring within the Mai Po Nature Reserve.
