Etiquette Ambassadors and Hygiene Ambassadors
In recent years, with the government's efforts in conservation and revitalisation of countryside areas, the popularity of some rural areas, such as the Lai Chi Wo village, has increased. These areas have become popular eco-tourism destinations for the public on weekends and holidays, attracting a growing number of visitors. However, this also brings various challenges to these areas.
To address this, the project organisation has invited villagers to serve as Etiquette Ambassadors and Hygiene Ambassadors. On one hand, they educate visitors about the etiquette of visiting countryside areas and provide the latest information about the village. On the other hand, they are responsible for handling garbage, cutting weeds, and cleaning the village's drainage systems to ensure the clean and hygienic environment in the village. This effort aims to transform Lai Chi Wo village into a visitor-friendly and environmentally clean eco-tourism hotspot.
