Dragonfly survey

The project organisation invited tertiary institutions to join the conservation sector as citizen scientists by conducting a dragonfly survey in Sha Lo Tung. After training in indoor classes and field trips, participants became qualified dragonfly survey officers. They regularly visited Sha Lo Tung to record the distribution of dragonflies and jointly established a local dragonfly database for the project organisation to collect ecological data to understand the effectiveness of rehabilitation.
