Docent training course and activities

The project organisation held a docent training course in August 2024. The training course invited professionals from various fields to serve as instructors. The trainees include people from different backgrounds, including villagers of Lai Chi Wo Village, Sam A Tsuen, farmers of Lai Chi Wo, colleagues from local organisations and long-term volunteers who have served in Lai Chi Wo. The course aims to enable participants to have a comprehensive understanding of the history, culture, natural ecology and restoration work of Lai Chi Wo, and to serve as docents for future activities organised by the project, such as guided tours.
