Community Farmers
The farmland in Lai Chi Wo is primarily managed by project staff and community farmers under the Lai Chi Wo Management Agreement. These farmlands are rented from the original residents by the project organisation and allocated to community farmers for cultivation. Before starting, community farmers must submit a plan and agree to the project's principles of eco-friendly farming. They are also required to follow the project's production and management guidelines and participate in regular farmers' meetings. Currently, there are nine groups of community farmers in Lai Chi Wo, all dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
