Afterwords of Tourism Innovator - Tourism Innovation Possibility - RSVP Yung Shue Au

In February 2024, the project organisation held the "RSVP Yung Shue Au" event, leading participants to explore Yung Shue Au Village. The event allowed participants to experience Hakka culture and traditional festivals, and learn about the history of Yung Shue Au Village and its efforts to rehabilitate the village. Upon arrival, participants saw a sea of flags flying in the village, demonstrating the villagers' enthusiasm for the restoration of the village. Under the leadership of local villager, everyone explored this once lively village in depth. Highlights of the event include a dancing Qilin performance and a worship ceremony. The young Wan family members showed their enthusiasm for inheriting Hakka culture. During lunch, participants tasted Hakka dishes while listening to villagers share stories about Yung Shue Au, which deepened their understanding of the village.

As members of the Tourism Innovators, participants learned how to plan rural experiences and had the opportunity to understand the views of people from different backgrounds on the countryside, which will help promote rural culture and develop diversified rural tourism projects in the future.
