The project team invited Yim Tin Tsai Villagers and experienced docents to share the spatial-temporal changes of the village landscape and sensory stories of the past and the present. Participants expressed their impressions and feelings of the village stories through writing and drawing, and exchanged the most impressive village stories with villagers.

The project team recruited a group of students from Hong Kong tertiary institutions and trained them to become storytellers through an internship program. Using different sensory elements, the storytellers led story walk participants to visit attractions of Yim Tin Tsai, including the saltpans, St. Joseph’s Chapel, Yim Tin Tsai Heritage Exhibition Centre (the former Ching Po School), and the spring well. The story walks allowed participants to appreciate the unique stories of Yim Tin Tsai from different perspectives and experiences.
