As the first stage, the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (CCFS) is calling for applications for Nature Conservation Management Agreement (MA) projects until 18 November 2019. The second stage of the CCFS will expand the funding scope to cover more remote countryside area, details to be confirmed.
Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application for MA projects carefully and fill in the relevant Application Form. Completed Application Form should reach the Secretariat of the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (Address: 22/F, Chinachem Exchange Square, 1 Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong) before 5:00 p.m. on 18 November 2019 (Monday). (Please state “Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme Application” on the envelope.) For applications submitted by mail, the postmark should be dated on or before 18 November 2019. Please ensure payment of sufficient postage; the Secretariat will not accept underpaid mails nor bear the surcharge so arisen. In case the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force, or suspension of major public transport for any duration between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. on 18 November 2019, the invitation closing time will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the next working day. Special announcement about the details will be made on the webpage of CCFS.
Late or incomplete applications or applications not submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements as stated in the Guide to Application and relevant Application Form will not be processed.
It is expected that the earliest time for announcement of the result would be in January 2020. Invitation for the next round of application for MA projects is tentatively scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.
