Cut-off Date of this Round of Application and Online Briefing Session

The Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (CCFS) has approved a total of 10 projects involving a total grant of around $40 million in the latest round of application. Details of the 10 approved projects are available here.
Applications for the CCFS are accepted all-year-round. The cut-off date of application for the coming round of application assessment is 30 September 2021 (Thursday) and it is expected that the earliest time for announcement of the application results would be in around January 2022.
Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (Version 1.4, Aug 2021) carefully and fill in the relevant Application Form (MA projects / BH, CR and RA projects) (Version 1.4, Aug 2021). Both the original copy and the soft copy of the completed Application Form should reach the Secretariat of the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (CCFS) before 5:00 p.m. of the cut-off date on 30 September 2021 (Thursday). The original copy should be addressed to 22/F, Chinachem Exchange Square, 1 Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong and the soft copy should be emailed to [email protected]. Please mark “Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme Application” on the envelop cover and the email title column respectively. Please ensure payment of sufficient postage, the Secretariat will not accept underpaid mails nor bear the surcharge so arising. In case the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force for any duration between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. on 30 September 2021 (Thursday), the cut-off time will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the next working day. Special announcement about the details will be made on the CCFS webpage. Applications submitted after the above cut-off date will be considered in the next round of application assessment.
Incomplete applications or applications not submitted in accordance with the requirements as stated in the Guide to Application (Version 1.4, Aug 2021) and relevant Application Form (Version 1.4, Aug 2021) will not be processed.
In order to achieve sustainable conservation and revitalisation in the remote countryside, the CCFS will introduce enhancement measures to facilitate the smooth implementation of the project and increase the flexibility of the funding scheme. These measures include the assignment of a subject officer to strengthen communication with the project organisations, extension of the public access periods of the restored built heritage, streamlining procurement procedures, and encouraging project organisations to conduct more conservation activities.
The Countryside Conservation Office will organise an online briefing session on 17 September 2021 (Friday) to assist interested local non-profit making organisations (NPOs)/bodies/persons to have a better understanding of the CCFS. Details are as follows:
