Cut-off Date of this Round of Application

The Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (CCFS) has approved a total of 3 projects involving a total grant of around $16 million in the latest round of application. Details of the 3 approved projects are available here.

Applications for the CCFS are accepted all-year-round. The cut-off date of application for the coming round of application assessment is 14 April 2022 (Thursday) and it is expected that the earliest time for announcement of the application results would be in August 2022.

Applicant organisations should read the Guide to Application (Version 1.5, Feb 2022) carefully and fill in the relevant Application Form (MA projects / BH, CR and RA projects) (Version 1.5, Feb 2022). Both the original copy and the soft copy of the completed Application Form should reach the Secretariat of the CCFS before 5:00 p.m. of the cut-off date on 14 April 2022 (Thursday). The original copy should be addressed to 22/F, Chinachem Exchange Square, 1 Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong and the soft copy should be emailed to [email protected]. Please mark “Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme Application” on the envelop cover and the email title column respectively. Please ensure payment of sufficient postage, the Secretariat of the CCFS will not accept underpaid mails nor bear the surcharge so arising. In case the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is in force for any duration between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. on 14 April 2022 (Thursday), the cut-off time will be extended to 5:00 p.m. on the next working day. Special announcement about the details will be made on the CCFS webpage. Applications submitted after the above cut-off date will be considered in the next round of application assessment.

Incomplete applications or applications not submitted in accordance with the requirements as stated in the Guide to Application (Version 1.5, Feb 2022) and relevant Application Form (Version 1.5, Feb 2022) will not be processed.

In order to achieve sustainable conservation and revitalisation in the remote countryside, the CCFS will introduce enhancement measures to extend the scope of “Formulation of Proposals on Restoration of Built Heritage” Project and simplify the details to be covered in the statement of account for approved projects. For details, please refer to the Guide to Application (Version 1.5, Feb 2022).
