The Countryside Conservation Office (CCO) has conducted a thorough review of the application process and monitoring framework of the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme (CCFS), with a view to improving clarity of the application requirements and applicants’ accountability as well as to facilitating more effective project monitoring. Upon consultation with the Advisory Committee of Countryside Conservation (ACCC), the Guide to Application (Version 1.7, Sep 2023) has been amended and taken effective.
The CCO will organise a briefing session on 27 October 2023 (Friday) to assist interested local non-profit making organisations (NPOs) / bodies / persons to have better understanding of the CCFS including the objectives, application procedures, vetting mechanism, performance monitoring and disbursement arrangement. There will be a Q&A session and the CCO would respond to questions if any. Details of the briefing are as follows:
